Food: Magnolia Bakery

While watching "THE TALK" i heard Julie mention one of her favorite Bakery's that made vintage Amrican desserts, having a major sweet tooth i knew i had to check it out!

The Bakery Originated in New York but has now expanded to L.A. and other locations.
As soon as u walk into this Bakery u will feel like u have gone back in time. I truely felt like i was in an episode of I Love Lucy, this bakery is simply adorable.
Magnolia's Famous Banana Pudding is made with Layers of vanilla wafers, fresh bananas and creamy vanilla pudding. I have to agree with Julie, this is the most delicious and heavenly pudding that i have ever tried. I highly highly recommened...Two thumbs up

Food: Taquitos

I'm no top chef but one of my most mastered dishes would have to be my chicken taquitos. I'll let the view do the talkin!

The taquito stuffing: Begin by boiling a few pieces of chicken. Shred the cooked chicken and place in a pan with a dab of olive oil. Add half an onion, salt, pepper, and cajun seasoning. Allow to satay til onions are tender.
In a seperate pan warm the tortilla til it becomes soft, add taquito stuffing in the middle of the tortilla and roll into a taquito.
In a different pan add enough oil to coat the taquitos, fry until golden and crunchy.
Garnish w/ lettuce, cheese, and salsa.
I like to serve it with chicken flavored mexican style rice.....Enjoy!

Beauty: Dia De Los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos or the “Day of the Dead” is a Mexican religious holiday. The traditional celebration of Dia de los Muertos started over 3,500 yrs ago by the Aztecs who practiced a month-long celebration that honored those who had died and welcomed their spirits back to earth for a visit. During this ritual, they would often display skulls as a symbol of life, death, and rebirth. I was inspired by the beautiful images from this day to create the makeup look below.
