Monterey Cali Vacation

On our drive up to Monterey we decided to grab a bite and take a tour of Mission San Miguel. The beautiful old mission building, whose foundations were laid nearly 200 years ago, is a precious part of our spiritual heritage, with a story that is integral to California's history.
One major tourist spot is Old Fisherman's Warf Monterey, at this beautiful Monterey Peninsula you will find great Restaurants, seafood, chowder, and unique shops.

Among clam chowder tasting we decided to have lunch at Crabby Jim's, the
views of the Monterey Harbor allowed us to enjoy seafood while watching the sea lions and other harbor life.
For our appetizer we opted for Deep Fried Calamari, tender Monterey Calamari lightly dusted w seasoned flour and deep fried, served w homeade tarter sauce.
Jumbo Coconet Shrimp, deep fried jumbo coconut crusted shrimp, served w homeade Mango Chutney.
I love me some chowder so as soon as i had a sample at Crabby Jim's, i knew i needed me some more.
Crabby's Homeade Original Monterey Bay Clam Chowder.
My hunny decided on the Mixed Fish Grill, grilled Salmon w lemon butter sauce,Mahi Mahi with mango relish and Tilapia w bell pepper corn salsa.

Overall i give Crabby Jims an excellent review. This place had delicious food, an intimate romantic atmosphere and an amazing view.
One of my favorite activites during our trip was when we went to the Monterey Bay Kayak's. We had never been Kayaking so it was so much fun to experience it together.
Pebble Beach and golf course, words cannot describe how beautiful this place is. I'll let the pics do the talkin.
This was a much needed trip for us, we got to experience new adventures and places. We had such a wonderful time, can't wait to go back :)
